Trip Summary
I had a short window of time to get out of the house and do some beach fishing, so I explored a new spot in West Vancouver near Cypress Creek. I caught and release a small English Sole (which is very similar to a Flounder) and came across this small snake in the rocks. I think it was garter snake but am not certain on the species.
It was beautiful summer day to be out casting off the beach. I found this location by exploring Google Maps and looking for fresh water creeks/rivers that ran into Ocean. I’ll likely try exploring more areas like this again to avoid the crowds at Ambleside and the Capilano River mouth.
