Cowichan Riverside Cottages
If you're looking for something close to the steelhead fishing Vancouver island action the Cowichan Riverside Cottage sits literally on the banks of the famous Cowichan River on the outskirts of the town of Lake Cowichan, on Vancouver Island.
Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, “get back to nature” and feel the peacefulness surround you as you relax on your private deck after a long day of fishing. This heritage river that has been heralded as the “Fly Fishing Capital of Canada” since the early 1900’s.
Our Cowichan Riverside Cottage is self contained and well stocked with all the necessary amenities on hand. Inside you’ll find the living area with wood stove ready to go, two double beds and a tiled shower in the bathroom. There is also an outside shower for cleaning up after those hot sunny days. Wader and gear storage is available after a hard days fishing.
Make the Cowichan Riverside Cottage your home base for day-trips, your starting point to experience some wonderful sights this end of Vancouver Island. Not only do we fish the Cowichan River, this is also a great location to access our several river systems in the area San Juan, Gordon and Harris Creek.
