How to Fish Alice Lake and Regulations

Alice lake offers its best fishing between Spring and Fall. The hotter days of Summer are not ideal as the fish will be deeper in the lake and more difficult to find. Ideally, an overcast day in Spring or Fall is tough to beat! This lake does ice over in the winter but the ice is not well monitored and for safety reasons not recommended for ice fishing.

The trout in this lake are best targeted early morning (first few hours of daylight) and the even (last few hours of daylight). A popular setup is a live worm on a bait hook under a bobber. If you want more information on how to rig up for trout, see Setup #3 our fishing tip Trout Bobber setup.

BC Non-Tidal Fishing License is required to fish for anyone older than 16 years of age at Alice Lake. To obtain a Fishing license it can easily be done by going online to this page.
