Was casting for Coho from the mouth of the Capilano River on Ambleside Beach (North Vancouver). Caught this little surprise Greenling with a charteuse spinner.
Setup: 10 ft spinning rod (Cabelas Salmon) and 2500 Shimano Sahara reel, spooled with 30 lb mainline braid.
Lure: Weigthed Charteuse spinner from Trophy Tackle. You can bomb these a mile out there!
Water Conditions: 1 hour after low tide.
Weather: Beautiful morning and sunrise. I don’t have any temperature details.
